About Mt. Angel Sausage Company
In the Heart of the Willamette Valley there is a small Oregon town called Mount Angel, a quaint Bavarian village with a rich European heritage. It is home to a unique Sausage Company that reflects the Bavarian personality of its owners, the Hoke family, Ma (Robin) and Pa (Jim), Wurst Meister son James and daughter Nikki Horner. They are the operators of this traditional “Old World” sausage company.
It is our hope you will enjoy their fine sausages as much as the Hoke’s enjoy making them for you. At the Mount Angel Sausage Company you can savor the taste and take home your favorites. All their sausages are bursting with protein from beef, pork and chicken and other nutritious natural ingredients, produced in house by the family.
The Hokes offer a full-service German Restaurant and menu, an amazing assortment of European items and 34 different wurst for you to choose from. The Food Network discovered them a while back and featured their notoriously sought after Fire Haus Brats. They have amazingly large selection of German and Bavarian beers, wines and very friendly bar.
The restaurant is like a country gasthaus, charmingly decorated with a roaring fireplace and arranged to accommodate an intimate dinner party, larger gatherings of family and friends, weddings, birthdays and meetings of all sorts. The staff caters to your needs. Having your lunch or dinner served to you on their patio on a beautiful sunny day, with toe-tapping German music in your ears, offers all the ambiance of a village ‘Garten Fest.’
